Beachy

This design was a blast to illustrate, and there’s nothing to it beyond what’s on the surface, really. Our family was vacationing at the beach a while ago, and I pulled out my tablet and just drew what came to mind. I may or may not have been reading Chainsaw Man at the time.

AMALGAM

This was one of those really stream-of-consciousness designs that got weird in all the best ways. My tablet and I got to know each other pretty well with this piece, as it was one of the first things I made after getting it. I learned a lot about and how I could use it to make designs for shirts, and have been enjoying the process since.

Tithe

This was conceived after some thought on the absurdity of commonplace Western religious rituals, and what effect on a psyche these practices foster over time. Another focus was the abundance of wealth a religious body can accrue relatively easily, especially within the United States, and what that means for the institution of Western religion as a whole.

Tithe was one of the first that I drew traditionally (bless this pen and paper), and then vectorized digitally. I’m pretty stoked with how this one came out, despite the hardships of learning a digital medium with an analogue mindset, and hope it can spark something in someone, somewhere.

Vectorized an oldie but a goodie (originally drawn on tracing paper) today. Running through some thoughts on apparel, as well as thinking of layers for a proper print edition and getting excited! Thoughts?
