I’ve been shooting a lot more video over the last year and getting to spend a morning, on a gorgeous course, in Palm Springs, filming golf with was definitely a high point.

Part of what made that experience so great was having crew of hard working and talented people by my side who made the whole shoot feel like a hang. S/O .lsea_ and

One of the newest additions to my creative process is story boarding before a even pick up the camera. I think it’s a game changer for me because I’m able to more accurately visualize the final image and it’s been working pretty damn well so far. Have you guys ever cooked bacon in beef fat before? If not, I highly recommend snagging some of ‘s grass fed beef tallow and doing that. It’ll change your fu***ng life.

On another note, now that I’ve been taking some time to create things for the fun of it and not just for other people, I’ve actually had far more people reaching out to hire me. From now on I’m making it a priority to do way more personal projects. 👌🏼

On the fence about if you should get your headshot taken? Here are the two reasons why I think you should take the leap and invest. ⁣

1. First impressions matter more than we’d like them too and the truth is, in today’s world, one of the first things that potential employers, clients and contacts will notice about your profile is the photo you chose to use to represent yourself. If that photo doesn’t look professional, those people searching for you aren’t likely to think of you as professional. ⁣
⁣
The next reason is, in my opinion, the most important of the two. ⁣
⁣
2. Mindset is EVERYTHING! I believe that the secret to becoming the highest version of yourself is to be able see yourself as such. My mission as a portrait photographer is to give you photos that do just that. The mindset shift that happens when you see yourself at your absolute best is a powerful thing which can open doors that will change your life forever. ⁣

Don’t let fear or doubt hold you back from becoming your highest and most accomplished self.⁣
