Love it or Lose it WWF campaign poster 🐻‍❄️ composited in Photoshop using masks, adjustment layers, blend modes, and sky replacement. When it comes to advertising, I’ve always been most impacted by work rooted in the Fused Metaphor era (from 1945-1970), which is all about combining symbols to tell a bigger story and communicate an idea in a simpler, more thought-provoking way. The lightbulb symbolically acts as an iceberg that barely supports a lonely polar bear stranded in the ocean. The lightbulb simultaneously represents both the reason he is stuck there - the heat from global warming - and the beckoning idea being generated that we should do something about it.

Eve - Oil on Canvas 🎨 This was my very first painting (unless you count the ones I made all over the floors and walls of house house when I was a kid 😏). My art teacher basically threw a garage sale on top of a table and told the class to make an interesting scene out of whatever we could find. I grabbed this manakin, wrapped it in fake vines, and called it Eve. My brother has been stealing my "b**b painting," as he so eloquently named it, every chance he gets ever since 😂😂😂

"Melting Studio - acrylic on canvas. I painted this for my fiancé two years ago for his birthday. He's a musician and I have an obsession with Salvador Dali's tendency to melt things in his surrealist work, so I decided to melt his music studio for him 🤷‍♀️

Blind Contour Self Portrait from 2012. When you challenge yourself to only look in the mirror and never pick your pen up off the paper while drawing, you tend to get some interesting results! This project was when I learned how to truly see the world like an artist for the first time because it forced me to put all of my focus into observing the details rather than rely on my assumption of what they should be.

Ever wonder what the world could look like if we all understood and appreciated the differences between each other? Imagine the transformation in our children's development if they could all afford to step outside of their bubble at a young age and see the world for all the beauty and diversity it has to offer. VR.EDU is a business concept I've been modeling to make this dream a reality by harnessing the power of virtual reality to send young students on historical and cultural expeditions that bring a whole new level of engagement to their education.
