🇺🇸 A special moment from the 2nd Annual Military & Veteran Entertainment Awards.

As Heidi-Marie Ferren, Miss USO, delivered a powerful rendition of God Bless America, I couldn’t help but notice the Marine Corps flag standing proudly beside the American flag on stage.

Maybe it was the Marine in me… but for a moment, it felt like a reminder of why we do this.

The Military & Veteran Entertainment Awards is about more than recognition. It’s about honoring service, celebrating storytelling, and ensuring that the voices of our military and veteran community continue to be heard.

Thank you, Heidi, for lending your incredible talent to an evening dedicated to elevating veterans in media and redefining the narrative.

From the red carpet to the awards stage, it was a beautiful setting for a powerful night of storytelling, recognition, and community.

We are grateful to the Skirball team and staff for helping create an environment where veterans, filmmakers, industry leaders, and supporters could come together to elevate veterans in media and continue redefining the narrative.
