Spirit Corner Hello everyone! Spirit Corner is back! Message us or give us a call at 1-800-264-9403. Hi there, my name is Johnni Zabka and I'm the owner of Spirit Corner.

I opened my doors in 2004 "online" and was one of only two websites that sold products for color guard, winter guard, dancers, and baton twirlers. It was a "one-woman show". I did it all - marketing, procurement, order fulfillment, shipping, and customer follow-up. Over time I expanded into offering online "e-stores" for schools and teams as a way for them to provide spirit wear as a fundraiser to

group members. This worked very well and I hired other work-from-home moms. We had a great schedule and flexible hours. We worked hard and I enjoyed working with all of them so much. We took on events and provide event tee shirts and hoodies on location. We got better and better at this and were used exclusively by Batavia HS to provide apparel for their track meets, such as the Upstate 8 Conference and Dukane Conference Track Meets. Then Covid hit in March 2019. Effectively shutting down all scheduled events, and all sports, and closing schools. This shut us down immediately, as it did many other businesses. Fast forward to 2022. The website got an update. I removed the schools and teams e-stores feature, but kept information on how to reach us for any team and bulk orders. We were able to provide event apparel for the Dukane Indoor Track Meet at Batavia HS, and the Boys Sectional Track Meet at St. Charles North HS. We no longer pay a yearly fee to IHSA (to save money). Instead, we pay the limited license fee with IHSA as needed for Sectional and Regional events as per IHSA rules. Contact me, the owner, if you would like to schedule an event. I will do my best to accommodate you. In the meantime, I am working a full-time job AND overseeing the operations of Spirit Corner until it can be fully running again. Spirit Corner is still a small town/small business, that survives only because of the support of the community and surrounding areas. My business story is a personal one. They say not to take your business personally. But what do they know about me and my business? I was the person that walked sidewalks and knocked on doors, and started a business with 3 children in tow. I started Spirit Corner way back in 2004. Back when I had to use DIAL-UP internet. There was only one other company on the internet that sold what Spirit Corner did at the time.

I learned how to build a website from scratch using HTML coding, learned how to optimize my site and products to get number-one listings in the search engines, and ordered, printed, shipped, and filled orders by myself for the first 9 years. We slowly added seasonal workers, and other stay-at-home moms, and we worked around each other's schedules. 1/2 the garage was turned into a shop. Everything was going SUPER GREAT until March 2020.

Our bread & butter is EVENTS. We were doing great in 2020 and were all set to have our best event year ever. We had events planned almost every weekend. BIG events (for us). Conference track meets, County Championship meets, Sectional Meets, Invitational Meets.... then COVID hit. Everything got canceled. We had already purchased much of the apparel and printed transfers. It was devastating. But what was more devastating was the loss of events for the next 2+ years.

We finally came back in 2023, but with less staff (just me and my family) so back to our roots and beginning. Starting over. As we navigate what lies ahead, I just want you to know that I LOVE designing and creating apparel screenprints and design work. If you need anything to be designed, please let me know. If you are looking for a web store for your school or team, we can do that, too!

Please note that I had to take a Full-Time job while Spirit Corner was recovering. Please contact me by Feb. 27, 2024 to order.

YES, these work great in the Stadium AND on the seats in the Main Gym. I use the hook to secure it to the stadium bleachers. And in the Main Gym I do not use the hook, however, the bottom of the seats have a rubber grip to keep sliding around to a minimum.

I've recently my personal set to watch Winter Guard Competitions at various high schools. This seat will save your back!
