Yarn & Cloth Clothiers was started as a way to blend our love of vintage inspired textiles, pattern mixing, and vibrant colors. My husband and I moved to Maine and I decided to stay home with our two small children and leave my job as a textile designer for a major teen retailer. I couldn't be happier to spend time with my kids but I really missed working in fashion. I decided to start Yarn & Clot
h Clothiers with my husband and continue on in the fashion world. My degree is in fashion design and my husband is a printmaker. I do all the designing and sewing and he works on our beautiful marketing! We strongly believe in our product and fall in love with every piece we make. We will never let something out of our doors that we don't believe in. We strive to give you something unique and beautiful for your child. As parents of three small children we understand how important the easy care of a garment is. We strive to use natural products that are easy to care for. I use a serger to finish all seams and take great care and detail in my sewing, so your garment will hold up to the wear and tear of a small child! We hope to soon expand our line to include more styles....stay tuned!
