I just wanted to take a second and share what Tri City Spotlight is all about and where the idea came from.
I’ve been in the marketing space for the past 4 years. In that time, I’ve built websites, ranked them on Google, run Facebook and Google ads, done email marketing, database reactivations — you name it, I’ve probably done it. I’ve worked with businesses across the country, in tons of different industries, and I’ve loved helping them grow.
But over the last year, we’ve shifted our focus. Instead of working with businesses all over the U.S., we decided to go all in on helping local businesses right here in our community.
I’ve found that the most rewarding part of what I do isn’t just digital results or ad stats, it’s building real, face-to-face connections with people. Getting to know other business owners. Seeing their growth firsthand. That’s what led us here.
I also run a small home service business that we started last year. And even with all the experience I had in digital marketing, one thing hit me fast:
If people in your community don’t know, like, and trust you… your results will always be limited.
We didn’t have a massive budget, and I quickly realized that most of the Tri Cities had no idea my business even existed. So I started looking into how to build trust and awareness — not just clicks. That’s when I came across the idea of community-style shared postcards.
It made perfect sense:
✅ It’s cost-effective
✅ It gets your business physically into the hands of 10,000+ homeowners
✅ And best of all — it works for everyone involved
I tested it for my own business and the results were amazing. I have landed roughly $10,000 of work directly from the 1st postcard I sent out. That’s when the lightbulb moment happened, this isn’t just something that works for me… this could help other small businesses too.
So we launched Tri City Spotlight. A way to give local businesses powerful, affordable exposure, the kind that builds recognition, trust, and real momentum.
Thanks for being here. Whether you’re a business owner or just someone who loves supporting local, this page is for you.
