A Glimpse of Nature is new work from Sarah Dickinson, and it starts with the things most of us walk right past. A maple seed spinning down from a branch. A single leaf. A bud that hasn't opened yet. Sarah paints these in watercolor, then often cuts her forms out by hand and sets them against bits of the real thing she gathers on her walks. Paint, paper, and the actual outdoors, layered together. Each piece finished in a hand-selected wooden frame.

There’s potential in that chair. In case you didn’t know, The Studio at Istari is available to rent for photographers that just need a space. There’s seamless backdrops, lights, props, literally all the stuff you need for your client’s headshots or a quick portrait session. And it’s all included when you book. So reach out for info and come make something cool.

We’re officially a month and a half in, and this has all been overwhelming and awesome. For those of you who are just now joining us, we’re David + Andrea, and we opened The Studio @ Istari Creative in Fairhaven. We’re marketers, designers, coders, photographers, artists, and writers. We’re creative humans who love making things for other humans. And it has to be said that since opening, what we didn’t fully expect was how many of you other humans would show up for all the things. Like to inquire about the agency’s services, to talk art, to just pop in and say hi, to buy some Fairhaven merch. And for real, it’s meant everything to us. We’re Istari, so “hiya.” We’re in Suite 309 if you wanna check us out. Also, we’re just getting started with all this. Stay tuned if you’re inclined. Thank you all.

Yeah that was crazy last week.

Back to regular hours! We still have some cool 2026 Ski to Sea inspired Fair-merch, so come up and fake it like you raced it. We missed ya’ll. Looking forward to an awesome summer!

Well. That was a couple days we didn't plan for. Sorry we've been closed this week. The good news is that David is on the mend. We'll be closed Friday, then back at it Saturday. Thanks for understanding!
