Image 1 - Two white tablets lay side-by-side on a white-washed wood tabletop. The tablet on the left shows the old Kimbler Financial homepage. It is dark black, olive green and tan with thick text and minimal blocking.β €
The tablet on the right shows the top of the new Kimbler Insurance homepage. There is a large image of a family moving into a new home with the words "Protecting what matters most" in large, all caps, white font across the image. The colors are bright golden-yellow, cool greys and charcoals. Below the banner image there are two dark grey color blocks - one for property and casualty insurance with a light grey house icon, and one for health and life insurance with a light grey icon of two people. Each box has a white button that says "Learn more." Below that is a large white space with the words "Insurance solutions" in black all caps.β €
Image 2 - One large white tablet on a white-washed wood tableptop. This tablet screen shows the very bottom of the new Kimbler Insurance website. At the top of the image, there is a photo of a family playing soccer across from text reading "life insurance." Below that is a photo of a child with a grandparent across from text reading "long term care insurance." In the middle is large bold black text that reads "Insurance Partners." Below that are several logos of businesses, which are being used as placeholders. The website is still under construction, so the correct logos are not yet in place. The bottom third of the page has two large color blocks. On the left there is an image with a golden-yellow filter over it. White text on top of the image reads "Get In Touch" then goes on to list a phone number, location, hours and email addresses. On the right, there is a larger solid golden-yellow block with white, all caps text that reads "Get your free quote now!" Below that is a contact form and a white button that reads "Get my quote now."] @ Bellingham, Washington

Inclusion is good, but so often it still relies on non-disabled people "benevolently" reaching out to "include" people with disabilities.β €
β €
When disabled people are "remembered," it's often as an afterthought or tacked onto the "diversity" section of a strategic plan.β €
β €
But not only is devaluing, excluding and tokenizing us bad for your ethics, it's terrible for your brand, your marketing and your bottom line.β €
β €
According to the Office of Disability Employment Policy, consumers with Disabilities are the 3rd largest market segment in the U.S.β €
β €
It's time we're treated that way.

[Image Description: A navy blue background that is lighter in the center and fades to a darker (almost black) navy around the outside. There is a thin white border around the image and white text that reads "Consumers with Disabilities are the 3rd largest market segment in the U.S." The words "Disabilities" and "3rd Largest" are in much larger fonts, emphasizing their importance. Above the text is a small white goose silhouette. Below the text is a semi-transparent white bar with dark blue text that reads Hashtag Prioritize Disability. At the very bottom is very small white text that reads at Blue Goose Media.]

PSA: Hire disabled people!

At BlueGoose, we're 100% owned and operated by disabled folx and we couldn't be happier.

It's time we start busting myths around hiring disabled people and "accommodating" disability in the workplace!

[Image Description: Dark blue square with lighter center and thin white border. White all-caps text reads: The ability employment gap Below that, there is a bulleted list with white goose silhouettes being used as the bullet points. The list reads:β €
29% of disabled people are employed.β €
75% of able-bodied people are employed.β €
The unemployment rate for disabled folks actively seeking work is 9.2% - that's over 2X higher than able-bodied people at 4.2%.β €
Hiring just 1% of the 10.7 million disabled people in the U.S. could boost our G.D.P. by $25 billion.β €
Below the list there is a semi-transparent white bar with dark blue text that reads hashtag hire disabled.]
