~6 veteran participants who are interested in completing a weekly progression. All gear and instruction provided.

Primary paddling locations will include 1st Street Rapids on the Deschutes in Bend and sections surrounding Central Oregon.

Volunteers who are interested in helping with logistics, trip planning and gear management. Individuals that are interested in learning to paddle and participate as well as volunteer are also welcome with the goal of helping with the program in the following years for on water support. Number of beginner participants able to volunteer and participate will be dependent on instructor volunteer support.

Volunteer instructors who are currently component and experienced paddlers with free time during week nights and potentially some weekends.

The following events for TRR in the PNW are scheduled:

June 9-12 Deschutes, Maupin Oregon. Same event as last year, camp at Wasco fairgrounds and run day trips on Deschutes near Maupin

July 6-10. 2 events in one! 2 days paddling the upper Salmon near Stanley, followed by three days Swiftwater rescue training. You can sign up for paddling, SWR, or both

July 17-19 Payette Clinic and SWR training. 2 days paddling and one day SWR training, or 3 days paddling

Please let me know if you are interested, would like to see other local trips planned Class I-Class IV+, or additional beginner courses offered.
