🎨✨ What if you could borrow art supplies the same way you borrow books?

Outside .suns.art_bend, owner Taylor has created a Community Art Exchange and Little Free Art Supply Library that’s all about making creativity a little more accessible in Bend.

Think of it like a Little Free Library—but for art supplies. 🖌️

Heading to the river and want to paint? Need markers for a project with the kids? Looking for inspiration on a rainy afternoon? Stop by, borrow what you need, and bring it back when you’re done so someone else can enjoy it too.

Have extra supplies collecting dust? You’re welcome to add those as well. ✨

You’ll also find a community art exchange where makers of all ages can leave artwork and discover something new from someone else. 💛

✨ Keep an eye on the library, too. Taylor has started stocking it with samples of her upcoming themed art kits! More kits are on the way, with a variety of creative projects and themes that will soon be available for purchase through Two Sons Art & Maker Space.

While you’re there, don’t miss the I Spy table inside—it’s such a fun little detail and a hit with kids and adults alike. 👀✨

Last summer, my oldest came home from asking when she could go back. This year, she finally got her wish… and thanks to RAD’s new Nest program, my 3-year-old got to join the fun too. ☀️

One of the things I love most about RAD Camps is how easy they make summer for parents. They handle transportation to local parks and adventures, and they’ll work with your family’s car seat or booster preferences, so you don’t have to stress about the logistics.

After drop-off (and a complimentary cup of ☕️), I got a few things done around the house before heading out for a paddleboard ride… but first a cruise to pick up a sandwich on the river 🤤 relaxing day = I’m not cooking!!

Meanwhile, the kids were making friends, exploring Central Oregon, staying active, and having an absolute blast 👏🏼

A day of adventure for them and a little time to recharge for me? That’s a win-win. 🙌

Did you know Bend has a mobile dog gym? 🐾

I got to watch Jojo try , and it was such a fun experience! What makes it unique is that the treadmills are completely self-propelled, meaning the dogs control everything. They can speed up, slow down, stop, or start whenever they want. Because they’re powering the movement themselves, it provides both physical exercise and mental stimulation.

Patches does an amazing job working with each dog at their own pace and helping build confidence along the way. Whether your pup is energetic, a little hesitant, young, or just needs a different way to get some exercise, she meets them where they’re at 🩷

I can definitely see this being a great option for those smoky summer days, freezing winter mornings, or even the hottest days of the year. Since the gym is temperature regulated, dogs can stay comfortable and active no matter what’s happening outside ☀️☁️❄️🌬️☔️⛈️🌪️☄️

Ski season may be over, but that doesn’t mean the learning has to stop. ⛷️☀️

We recently got a sneak peek at summer camp with kids had an absolute blast.

From learning the basics and building confidence to sledding, crafts, and bounce house fun, it was the perfect mix of skill-building and being a kid.

What stood out most to me was watching the kids gain confidence throughout the day. Whether your child is brand new to skiing or snowboarding or you’re hoping to spend more time on the mountain next season, this is such a fun way to get a head start.
