R.I.P. Kirk Douglas. I had the pleasure of meeting him and Burt Lancaster flying from Bos>LA in 1985, when they were shooting Tough Guys. I got bumped to First Class and imagine my surprise when the next row was occupied by these two. Kirk told me I looked a little like his kid and Burt bought me a scotch when we shared a smoke at the stand-up bar onboard.
