Wow! Reminder: Facebook, Google and Apple will not call you out of the blue with "warnings." If you are concerned, type in whatever warning they are giving you and see if it comes up as a scam! I listened to a fake voicemail re: my Google business listing - pretty convincing. Scams are more sophisticated than ever.

The Original Facebook Wall Inspired Me to Be Even Better at Social Media!

I never expected to launch a career in social media coaching! Back in 2009, I was on the cutting edge of a new trend called “social media.” I was a freelance journalist, writing about adventure travel and endurance sports (I was a triathlete and mountain bike racer) and started using social media networks to promote myself to and contact editors. It worked! I sold more stories. I was achieving results using Facebook and Twitter to land new assignments and sell more stories and fellow business owners wanted to know how I did it.

In 2011, I was invited to visit the Facebook headquarters in the heart of Silicon Valley. From that moment in the Palo Alto offices, I knew I was riding a powerful wave. I had already been teaching social media for two years, but realized this was a force to be reckoned with.

Now, I’ve shown hundreds of business owners, entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations how to harness the power of social media marketing to boost busiuness. The thrill of empowering my clients is what continues to inspire me today when social media is one of the most powerful forces in the world. I present seminars, give speeches, offer trainings and coach individually and in small groups.
