🌻🎨 LITTLE HANDS, BIG MONTANA… IT’S ALMOST REVEAL TIME! ✂️✨

Did you pick up a paintbrush at Youth Unplugged? Did your child paint one of our canvas squares? Are YOUR initials part of this community masterpiece? 👀

Then this is your invitation to come see how it ALL came together!

What began at Pay Love Forward’s Youth Unplugged event at Gratitude in Action is heading into its next chapter! Through DMG Eclipse Creative Studio’s Little Hands, Big Montana project, children and community members painted individual pieces that would become one big work of art. Each square carried someone’s creativity, effort, and little piece of heart. 💖

Now those pieces are coming together for a purpose: the finished artwork is being donated to Tumbleweed in support of the young people they serve. A colorful reminder that our youth matter, their creativity matters, and they belong in a community that shows up for them.

And what better place to celebrate than surrounded by SUNFLOWERS and young entrepreneurs?! 🌻🛍️

The market got rained out, but the celebration is back on—with a little extra COLOR! Come pick your own sunshine, shop the youth market, and cheer on the next generation. Explore candles, bath & body, plants, baked goods, and jewelry while supporting young people putting their ideas out into the world!

If you helped paint, come celebrate YOUR part in this story. Bring your kids, invite your friends, and let them say, “I helped make that!” If you missed the painting day, join us for the reveal and help celebrate everyone who made it possible. 🥹🎨

We’re keeping the finished painting a surprise… so come see the big picture in person! 😉

From little hands holding paintbrushes to young hands building businesses—let’s keep showing our kids what’s possible when a community comes together.

For the kids. For the community. For Tumbleweed. 💛

🗞️ Word On The Street

40 years ago today, John Farnham released “You’re the Voice”.

A song about finding your voice, making yourself heard and believing change is possible.

It got us thinking about RoamCouch and “Moon Child”.

While painting a mural in his local community, RoamCouch watched children stop to see what he was creating. He later reflected that knowing the artist lived in their community might make them wonder whether their own dreams could come true.

Sometimes seeing someone else find their voice helps us find our own.

Well, it’s official. 💗🎨

We have officially submitted Little Hands Big Montana!

This piece started as an idea to create something bigger than any one person could make alone. I designed the artwork and created a paint-by-number style system, then invited children from throughout our community to each add their own little piece to it. Some painted with us at community events, some at Youth Unplugged, and some right here at my private studio with friends and their kids.

When all of those individual canvases came back together, they became one complete piece of art — and that is really what Little Hands Big Montana represents to me.

Different children. Different stories. Different little hands. One community.

We submitted the finished collaborative piece for consideration in the contest, with the hope that if it is selected, any opportunity that comes from it can continue supporting youth art programs and giving kids more chances to create, connect, and feel like they are part of something.

I’m incredibly proud of every child who picked up a paintbrush, every parent who brought them, and every organization and friend who helped make this possible.

No matter what happens with the contest, this project already did exactly what I hoped it would do: it brought people together. 💕🌄🎨

Little Hands Big Montana is officially submitted. Now we wait and see where these little hands take us next.

✨ COMING SOON… THE BIG REVEAL! ✨

This project has become so much bigger than a painting to me. Little Hands 💕 Big Montana was created around one simple idea: every child deserves to know that their hands, their creativity, and their presence can make a difference. 💗🎨

So many little hands—and some pretty amazing grown-up ones—helped bring this piece to life.

From Youth Unplugged, presented by Pay Love Forward, to everyone who stopped and painted a square, to the amazing people who helped me organize, transport, assemble, paint, encourage, problem-solve, and keep this crazy idea moving forward… THANK YOU. 🦄✨

A huge shoutout to Pay Love Forward for believing in community collaboration and helping connect kids with opportunities to create and belong.

And to my Project Lotus family who came out to the private DMG Eclipse Creative Studio paint party and helped me keep working on this massive puzzle—you guys showed up for me exactly the way community is supposed to. 💜

And, of course, this project was created with Tumbleweed in my heart. The whole purpose behind it is to remind young people that they matter, that they are part of something bigger, and that even one small piece can completely change the final picture.

Now… the painting is finished. 👀

But you’re not seeing it quite yet. 😂

We’re working on planning a special reveal, and I would LOVE to have everyone who participated there—especially the kids and families who painted a piece of it.

So if you were part of Youth Unplugged, painted with us at the DMG party, helped behind the scenes, or contributed to Little Hands Big Montana in any way…

💖 THIS REVEAL IS FOR YOU.

Stay tuned. Details coming soon.

Art. People. Purpose. Creative magic. Real impact. 🌈🦄

🎨 Little Hands 💕 Big Montana is finally coming together — literally. 💛

There is something so special about taking all of these individual canvases and beginning the process of turning them into one finished piece.

Each square was created by a child. Different colors, different styles, different little hands — but every single one belongs in the bigger picture.

That’s really what this project has been about from the beginning: giving kids a chance to create something of their own while showing them that what they contribute matters.

One small canvas may not look like much by itself, but when you bring them all together, you start to see something much bigger taking shape.

This piece is being created forTumbleweed, and I hope the message behind it is one every young person can feel: you matter, your voice matters, and your piece of this world matters.

A huge thank-you to Pay Love Forward and everyone who helped make this possible. 💛 Thank you to everyone who came out to
Youth Unplugged, painted, helped, encouraged the kids, and gave their time and energy to this project.

And a very special thank-you to my Project Lotus - Billings, MT fam who came to the DMG Eclipse Creative Studio
private paint party and helped us keep this mural moving forward. Having people I care about show up, paint alongside me, and be part of something created for our community meant more than I can say.

This truly has been a community effort from beginning to end.

Now I’m putting all those little pieces together, and watching the final image emerge has been incredible.

I’ll be revealing the completed Little Hands, Big Montana piece very soon, and I cannot wait for everyone who helped create it to see what we made together. 🎨✨
