I almost said no. Not because I can’t do the work, but because I’ve been questioning if I’m even supposed to still be doing it.

Last night someone called and asked if I still handle admin in my business, and my answer was a REALLY slow, hesitant “yes.” I’ve been in a space of really wrestling with purpose, calling, and assignment.

About 30 minutes later, I got a text that turned into a 90-minute call. I ended up walking someone through a task step by step, and the whole time I could see it clearly…this wasn’t supposed to take 90 minutes. If there had been a system in place, it would’ve been a 10-minute task, max.

That’s what stayed with me. And more importantly, them!

Not everything shows up in engagement. Likes and shares are nice, but they’re not the real proof. The real proof is in the impact you’ve already made and the people who don’t hesitate to call you when they need clarity and things done right.

That’s not random. That’s fruit.

I don’t want any leader going into 2027 “strategizing” quarter by quarter, month by month.

And I say that from a real place, not just a professional one.

Because I work with Kingdom leaders, I understand what it means to move with the Holy Spirit. I understand that sometimes things shift quickly, directions change, and you have to be sensitive enough to pivot when God says move. That’s real, and I would never take that away.

But everything isn’t supposed to feel like that.

Everything isn’t supposed to be last-minute, reactive, or constantly changing to the point where you’re carrying the weight of it all.

There’s a difference between being Spirit-led and having no structure.

Building doesn’t require you to choose between being Spirit-led and being structured. It requires both.

And that’s exactly what I’m coming back to build.

ADMINistry, a branch of All In One, is being rebuilt with intention and coming back in Q3, stronger and more focused than before.

Happy Friday… quick reality check 😅

✅You checked off tasks all week
📅Your calendar stayed booked
You were BUSY
…but what actually moved?

Be honest:
A. I got a lot done… but not sure what it added up to
B. I was in meetings all week 😵‍💫 and still not done.....
C. I handled everything that came up (survival mode)
D. I worked nonstop… still feel behind
E. Don’t ask me that on a Friday 😭

This is what I see all the time—

We fill calendars
Teams completing tasks
…but no real system driving impact

So everything:
✔️ gets done
❌ but doesn’t build anything

And that’s why you’re tired.
Because you’re producing activity… not structure and without strategy.

PLANNING IS NOT STRATEGY.
Structure is what turns:
👉 tasks into progress
👉 calendars into strategy
👉 effort into results

Without it, you just keep running the same week over and over.

If your week keeps repeating itself with no real movement,
it’s not a time issue—it’s a structure issue.

That’s what I fix.
I bring solutions and systems. No more tasks.

Behind every successful person is a good ☕️ but constant grind is often a sign something isn’t working right.

Exhaustion isn’t proof of commitment.
A packed calendar isn’t proof of significance.
But in reality, it’s often proof of misalignment.

Too many priorities.
Unclear direction.
No strategy
No real systems to support the vision.
So we push harder instead of fixing what’s broken.

Now ask yourself: Are you holding up your own progress?

Not because you don’t know what to do, but because you won’t decide. Indecision is still a decision and it always costs you something. In both ministry and the marketplace, leadership isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about making the tough calls. Delay is expensive. Growth slows. Impact gets pushed back.

Clarity doesn’t come before the move. It comes because of it.

And conversations like this.

One thing I’ve learned and have given a lot of thought to this week...
We can be quick to label people as “controlling” when what we’re actually encountering is structure.

Clarity.
Consistency.
Defined expectations.

And if we’re not used to operating that way, it can feel uncomfortable at first and for some, even a bit intimidating. So instead of adjusting to it, we sometimes name it. But not everything that feels structured is control.

In the marketplace, these same traits are often seen as confidence and leadership.

In ministry, they can carry a different tone even when the intent is simply to bring clarity, structure, and order.

So the lesson for me has been this:
Before labeling someone, take a moment to understand what you’re experiencing.

Is it control or is it a level of structure that requires a different level of responsibility from you? Because the two are not the same. When we learn the difference, we can change how we work, lead, and grow.

Anyway…that’s what came up over coffee today.
