“You can’t afford marketing?”

No, babe.
You can’t afford NOT to.

If your chair isn’t full…
If you’re praying for last-minute cancellations to fill themselves…
If you’re relying on walk-ins and “word of mouth” like it’s 2007…

That’s not saving money.
That’s starving your business.

Marketing for stylists isn’t billboards and Super Bowl ads.
It’s:
• Posting consistently
• Showing your work
• Tagging your salon
• Using location tags
• Educating your audience
• Following up in DMs
• Building brand authority behind the chair

Salon owners — if your team isn’t marketing, your business is invisible.

Stylists — if you’re not marketing, you’re replaceable.

Full books don’t happen by accident.
They happen by strategy.

You don’t need a bigger talent level.
You need bigger visibility.

Invest in marketing or keep paying in slow weeks.

Your choice.

Stylists… I’m about to say this with love. 👀

If you work inside a salon, you are not just the talent — you are part of the marketing team.

Every time you post a balayage, a blowout, a color correction, a fresh set of extensions… and you don’t tag the salon?

You’re leaving money on the table. For you and for the business that gives you the space, the brand, and the foot traffic.

Tagging the salon:
✔️ Builds brand authority
✔️ Strengthens local SEO
✔️ Increases cross-promotion
✔️ Helps new clients connect the dots
✔️ Makes you look like a team player (which salon owners notice 👀)

It takes 3 seconds to tag the salon.
It takes months to build a brand.

Move like a team. Grow like a team. Win like a team.

You might hate me for this… but somebody has to say it. 👀

If you keep discounting your services behind the chair, you are teaching people how to treat you.

You cannot say “luxury experience” and then panic-drop your price the second someone blinks at it.

You are not just doing hair.
You’re correcting box dye at 8pm.
You’re investing in education.
You’re paying for product, rent, booking software, and let’s not forget… your spine.

When someone says, “$250 is steep,” and you instantly say, “I can do $200…” — nothing about your skill changed.

Only your confidence did.

Premium stylist.
Premium pricing.
Period.

The right clients won’t flinch.
They’ll book, tip, rebook, and respect your time.

The wrong ones?
They were never yours to begin with.

If this hit a nerve, good.
Save it before you discount that balayage.
Tag a stylist who needs to hear it. 🔥
