AI can help us do marketing faster. It can also help us do mediocre marketing faster. The strategy still has to come first.

This is where I think the AI conversation gets much more interesting for senior living marketers. Instead of focusing primarily on what AI can help us create, what happens when we start asking what it can help us understand?

AI has officially reached the stage where we can stop introducing it like it’s something new. Senior living organizations are already experimenting with it across different parts of their businesses, and the conversation is starting to shift from What can AI do? to a much more useful question: Whe...

Sometimes good marketing makes your numbers look worse.
We recently recommended a strategy shift that we knew would cause a client’s website traffic to drop. Not exactly the kind of thing you usually celebrate in a marketing report.
But traffic wasn’t the goal. Business growth was.
After the shift, traffic dropped just like we expected. Phone calls and form fills increased.
It’s a good reminder that the biggest number on the report isn’t always the one that matters most.
Good marketing isn’t about protecting pretty metrics. It’s about understanding what the numbers are telling you and being willing to change course when there’s a better path forward.

The Case for Honest Marketing Over Pretty Numbers There are certain numbers marketers love putting into reports. Traffic is up. Impressions are climbing. More people saw the ad. The chart has a nice little arrow pointing up and to the right. Everyone feels good. Except sometimes, none of those numbe...

Tomorrow is National Women in Medicine Day, which gives us plenty of reasons to celebrate the women changing healthcare.

It also gives us a reason to look at how we’re representing them.

Women in medicine are physicians, researchers, business owners, innovators and leaders with their own perspectives and personalities. Good healthcare marketing should give us a chance to see those things too.

With the Women in Medicine Summit coming up next week, we’re taking a closer look at representation, provider brands and what it means to let women be the experts in their own stories.

Women Have Changed Medicine. Has Healthcare Marketing Kept Up?

September 17 is National Women in Medicine Day, and next week we'll be attending the Women in Medicine Summit. Both are good reasons to celebrate how women are changing healthcare, but as marketers, they also got me thinking about something else: Has the way we market to and represent women in healt...

Orthopedic organizations are facing a growing challenge: patient demand is rising while reimbursement, workforce, and operational pressures continue to mount.
AAOS' latest industry report provides a useful snapshot of the forces reshaping orthopedic care and where leaders should focus next. It's a valuable read for anyone responsible for growth, operations, or strategy.

Which trend will have the biggest impact on orthopedic growth over the next 3 years: patient demand, technology adoption, reimbursement pressure, or outpatient migration?

Somewhere in your patient’s phone there are probably 47 screenshots of faces, treatments and TikToks they’ve saved for later.
Maybe even a Pinterest board.
The point is, patients aren’t walking into aesthetic practices as blank slates. Social media, influencers, celebrities, friends and trends have already helped shape what they think they want.
So where does your practice fit into all of that?
Our latest blog looks at why the best aesthetic content might not be another treatment explainer. It might be helping patients understand what all of that inspiration actually means for them.
Your Patients Have a Pinterest Board. Do You?

And if you’re headed to Aesthetic Next next week, come find us. We’d love to hear what you’re seeing in your own practice.

Somewhere on your patient's phone is probably a photo of someone else's face. Maybe it's a celebrity, someone they follow on TikTok, their best friend or even a photo of themselves from six years ago. They might have a literal Pinterest board full of inspiration or 47 screenshots buried somewhere in...

DOUBLE. BY 2040...

You know what that means? The senior living challenge is no longer creating demand. It's preparing for it.

As the 85+ population grows and supply remains constrained, the communities that build trust and visibility today will be best positioned for tomorrow's occupancy growth. What are you and your team doing to prepare for this jump in demand?

The best orthopedic marketing doesn't always begin after an injury.
Sometimes it begins the moment someone decides to become active again.
The FIFA World Cup is more than a global sporting event. It's a reminder that cultural moments influence patient behavior long before someone walks through your doors.
The practices that recognize these moments have an opportunity to educate, build trust, and become part of the conversation before care is ever needed.
How is your practice using major cultural moments to connect with future patients?
