It doesn’t make itself smaller to fit someone’s expectations. It doesn’t quiet its waves because they’re too loud or pull back its tide because it’s making people uncomfortable.
Yet so many of us spend our lives doing exactly that.
We dim our light, soften our opinions, downplay our accomplishments, and convince ourselves that being less is somehow easier than being fully seen.
But the things you’re told to shrink are often the very things that make you powerful.
Take up space. Use your voice. Pursue the life you want without apologizing for it.
The tide rises without permission. So can you. 💪🏼 ☀️ 🌊
