It's almost here. Pretty soon 🎅🏻 will be on his way and before we know it, the 🎁🎁 will be unwrapped, the food will be warm in our bellies, and the frenzied build-up to the holiday will be a distant memory. Be sure to take time to quietly sit and take it all in before the wrap is torn and the plates are cleared...and if you have to psych yourself up in the mirror, so be it. May you have a magical, peaceful holiday with the ones you love!

You'd think designers & marketers would have learned from the botched GAP logo rebrand in 2010 (https://news.designrush.com/gap-logo-fail-branding-lessons) but, alas, Cracker Barrel decided to try its hand at a rebrand...and shares dropped more than 12%. OVER A LOGO. This goes to show that brand identity is everything, and customers have incredibly strong connections to logos. At some point, maybe companies will start to realize that we like nostalgia, and stripping those elements from brands have serious consequences.
