Got the Pemi Loop in just before the Lincoln Woods Trail shuts down for repairs. 31 miles and 10000 feet of climbing across some of the most unforgiving terrain in the White Mountains. A long day of constant elevation, exposed ridgelines, and zero easy miles. There’s a reason the Pemi is considered one of the toughest single day hikes in the country.

My buddy and I just did the Pemi Loop! Glad we got it done before the Lincoln Woods Trail closes for repairs. 31 miles with over 10000 feet of elevation through some of the toughest terrain in the White Mountains. Long climbs, rough footing, and a full day of moving through the Presidential backcountry. Well known as one of the hardest day hikes in the country and definitely one that has to be earned.

3:10:41 at Providence. Executed the plan well, stayed patient early, and held on when it got tough late. A lot learned from this one and plenty more work ahead.

I hiked Mount Liberty last weekend with and had an absolute blast. Everything was super well organized, the group was awesome, and it made getting out into the mountains so easy. If you’re based in Greater Boston, this is honestly one of the most convenient ways to get after it without the hassle of planning.

Bluebird at the bottom and full whiteout at the top. Classic day in the Notch. We had the full Mount Washington experience yesterday.

Right Gully was firm with pockets of powder scattered throughout. We had a solid crew that made it an absolute blast!

Wouldn’t trade crazy days like this for anything.
