Hidden Gem Golf Course in MA Part 2, this is Olde Scotland Links in Bridgewater MA which I did earlier this year. Really thought it was a hidden gem, but for a $90 weekday rate and slow pace of play with not that great conditions, maybe it’s not a hidden gem after all

Most golfers will never qualify for a U.S. Open.

This year, three high school golfers earned their spot in the 2026 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills.

Jackson Ormond, Blades Brown, and Miles Russell will be teeing it up alongside the best players in the world before they’ve even graduated high school.

Qualifying for a U.S. Open is one of the hardest accomplishments in golf. The fact that these three are doing it while still in high school is hard to comprehend.

The future of golf is in good hands.

Who has the best chance to make the cut at Shinnecock: Jackson Ormond, Blades Brown, or Miles Russell?

Incredibly average mini course in MA, this is Newtown Commonwealth in Newton Massachusetts. Decent conditions, decent layout with some very tight/odd routing, but solid spot if you’re trying to get out before or after work, etc! Definitely will have this one in the rotation again, not many better public courses within a 30 minute drive

Is this the worst golf course in the United States?! We’ve got the dog track final boss today, it’s Norwood Country Club in Norwood Massachusetts! This place is just an absolute disaster, you’re just lucky if you hit the ball and land on a patch of grass that’s not a puddle. Greens were preposterous, random holes just right by the pins 😂😂 I would not suggest coming to this one

If you’re not from Massachusetts or haven’t been watching the news, the MIAA decided to make the Ipswich High School lacrosse team forfeit their state semifinal game because they were caught smoking ci**rs after graduation. Might be the most ridiculous joke of a ruling, gotta feel bad for those kids. Parents just continuing to ruin everything for kids these days. MIAA might be the only organization worse than the 2026 Boston Red Sox

Is this the best public golf course on Cape Cod?! It’s Bass River Golf Course in Yarmouth Massachusetts! Definitely some of the best value around, the price is always under $100 and the conditions are constantly improving, and it’s a very fun layout. Not many courses you can play that are on the water at that price. Definitely one of the better courses around!

This is the best public golf course in New England in my books, place is sensational. It’s Crumpin-Fox Club in Bernardston Massachusetts. Everything about this place is special from the second you pull in, and the length of this video doesn’t even do it justice. They have the fairest pricing and most transparency around, and you’ll always walk away from this place feeling like you got your money’s worth. I currently have it above any other course in New England because it’s accessible and not impossible to get a tee time, but offers a premier golf experience that very few can top the value. It’s a true getaway type experience even if you’re there on a day trip. The employees and service are incredible, the layout is very challenging but also fair and fun, and it’s the type of course you could play over and over and never get sick of it. Truly a special place, and I can’t wait to be back soon

Is this the best public golf course in Connecticut?! This is Manchester Country Club in Manchester CT. Elite conditions, everything was mint from tee to green. Layout is playable for golfers of all abilities, but still provides a nice challenge from the tips which are only ~6300 yards. Elite course for sure and definitely my favorite I’ve played in Connecticut so far, but have a bunch more to check out! 👀👀

Is this the best public golf course on Cape Cod?! This is Baybery Hills Golf Course, specifically the 18 hole course. They also have a 9 hole links course that’s fun to play! Layout is fun and gives a challenge but isn’t overly punishing, playable for players of all skill levels. Place has everything you could want from a course, definitely recommend!
