I've been where you are 👉🏽 feeling afraid that if you start to shine your true colors, your existing community will fade away or not accept this version of you.

When I first started freelancing as a social media manager, I thought I had to check off all these boxes: constantly post on my stories & feed, never let a comment go un-replied to, be bright, bubbly, and happy all the time... until I started to become burnt TF out. I realized that I didn't want to be that type of social media manager because it actually made me start hating social media, which wasn't good if I wanted to continue what I was doing.

After I started working on my own mindset around social media, I started attracting other people who wanted to do it differently too; who wanted to share their story on social media but without all of this PRESSURE to be perfect 100% of the time 👉🏽 and they inspired me to dive deeper.

They inspired me to dive even deeper into my own methods around social media mindset; to dive deeper into why it was so important to me to have your social media be stress-free.

If you've been feeling a little out of sorts recently (ahem... like I have 🙋🏻‍♀️) hear this: you are the only person that can protect your energy.

As a spiritual entrepreneur, protecting your energy is of the utmost importance - wouldn't you agree? If you didn't, you wouldn't be able to do all of the things you want to do. You wouldn't feel inspired to show up for your clients in the way that they need.

Instead, you might feel drained, uninspired, or even downright burnt out. This is when you know that you're not prioritizing taking care of yourself and your energy - so if this is resonating, maybe it's time to slow down, take a step back, and connect with your Self again.

Reconnect with your purpose and remember why you started your business in the first place.

I've seen quite a few new precious souls find my little corner of the internet, so I thought it was time to introduce myself again. 💗

With today being Earth Day 🌎 I have one thought swirling around in my head 👇🏼

We should treat the earth how we'd like to treat ourselves: with the utmost tenderness, love, and care.

The truth of the matter is, we only have a finite amount of time on this physical plane - and how lucky are we to spend it on a beautiful planet?! Throw a 🤘🏼 in the comments if you agree!

In the grand scheme of things, our existence here is just a blip in time, but that just gives us all the more reason to make it worthwhile. Taking care of yourself IS taking care of mama Gaia because there is no separation. We ARE of her + from her. We are simply just nature in human form. She allows us to experience this beautiful existence and she deserves that same respect.

How we take care of this planet is a reflection of how we treat ourselves. And how we treat ourselves reflects in how we are able to tell our stories.

THIS is why it's so important to be the stewards of the 🌎 while being the stewards of our own well-being.

The other day, I was chatting with a new friend about what I do as a social media manager and he asked me one simple question that broke me open 👇🏼

"What are your other soul callings? Social media can't be it, can it?"

When he asked me that question, it made me face the thoughts that have been ruminating in my head for the past month or so: that it's time to expand into something greater than what my current reality looks like.

Don't worry, I'm still completely in love with storytelling, social media management, & everything else that comes with it - I'm not going anywhere. 😉

BUT I have been asking myself what my next step is and how I can continue to hold sacred space for others so they feel safe to share their stories. My soul is yearning to find new ways to shine my brightest light so I can help others do the same - and honestly... I'm excited for this new part of my path that is unfolding.

We are all multidimensional beings who came here for a multitude of reasons & it's our divine right to figure out what those are - and they will shift and change as we do. I don't know about you, but I think that's FREAKIN' COOL ❤️‍🔥

So if you've been needing a sign to expand outwards of what you're currently doing, let this be it. It's okay to be multi-passionate, in fact, that just shows you're listening to your deepest desires & finding ways to reflect them.

🤯 Have you been struggling to give your ideas new life on the 'gram? My client was too...

When I first started working with this client, she felt like she knew what she wanted to say, but didn't know how to get all of the ideas swirling around in her head onto paper.

I know I've certainly been there: in this state of knowing all the right things to say, but having absolutely NO IDEA how to actually say them in a way people will relate to. Throw a 🤟🏼 in the comments if you can relate!

This is why having someone who will intently listen to your stories (like myself 😉) can be the key. We are all mirrors for each other, so odds are if you're open to telling someone your story, they'll hear it in a way that could offer a fresh perspective.

After my first strategy session with her, she already felt so much better about getting her story out there - and after I created her first round of content, she was certain that this is how she wanted to be doing it. I was able to act as that loving, reflective mirror so I could take her story and write it in a way that would resonate with her community.

And that's what matters right? Connection is why we're all here, so why not start sharing more? 💗

I would not be able to run this biz if I didn't take care of my soul first ❤️‍🔥

It isn't always the easiest thing, but I'm learning that taking care of myself IS taking care of business - it's taken a while for me to realize it, but I'm finally getting there.

I'm learning to surround myself with people that support me & my crazy, wild ambitions, even if I'm still growing into the idea of them.

I'm learning to give myself grace when I make mistakes and do better the second (or third) time around.

I'm learning to trust my own intuition and follow it.

And I want you to start taking care of your soul, too. Because once you start doing that, your business will start reflecting that (& your clients will start to notice too 😘)

Have you been struggling with connecting with your community on Instagram? Here's 3 tips to help 👇🏼

When it comes to connecting & interacting with your ideal client on social media, these are the 3 things that matter most:

🔑 PURPOSE: Why do you want to connect with this person? What story do you want to share with them? This is the first thing you should think about before slidin' in those dms 😉

🔑 ENERGY: How are you approaching & interacting with this person? People can feel your energy through a screen, so tuning in with your energy before having a convo with someone is something to think about.

🔑 SOUL: At the end of the day, you are simply one human connecting with another human. Make sure to recognize their humanness before you see them as just another potential client.

Learning how to interact with your community online will make you a better storyteller because you'll know how to connect with their soul, on a human-to-human level.

Raise your hand if you're a social media manager who barely makes time for their own social 🙋🏻‍♀️🤣

I am definitely guilty of this and I know there's at least someone out there who can relate to this - it's just so gosh darn hard sometimes!

Creating content for my clients is what I love to do. Digging deep into their stories & giving them new life brings me so much joy - but this got me thinking.

What if I made the commitment to start telling my stories with the same energy I told my clients'? I know this is totally a "practice what you preach" moment, but it's only just now as I'm writing this that I came to the realization.

Don't judge me, k? (although I know you won't 😘)

I need to start being an inspiration to myself so I can show my inner child that love I know she deserves, the love I know I deserve.

And I'll do this through one of my favorite love languages: storytelling.

So I guess this can serve as a reminder to all of my fellow social media managers, content creators, & storytellers: your story is worth telling too.

Shine your light by sharing your stories, so people can see their inherent value and what to share theirs too. 💗
