A very happy birthday and cheers to 15 years to my other half. 🖤

I am the luckiest that I got to marry my best friend.

Planning our destination wedding is what got me into the wedding industry. On October 1st of 2011 I registered my buisness and the rest has been history since.

Being married to a multi-passionate entrepreneur is not always easy. He keeps me grounded and brings me back to the present on the daily.

It’s truly the team work that makes this dream work and that we are always equals in marriage and in all we do in life.

He’s loved me on my worst days and has been my biggest cheerleader on my best ones.

It’s true what they say: marriage can be hard work - but the destination is more then worth the journey.

Never stop learning. This has been my forever mantra.

A bachelors and masters degree , 15 years as an entrepreneur, 22 years of experience and I am still always investing in learning.

Once a month I travel to NYC for our marketing content creation day for with my dream team .gavras .meidl . From setting powder that makes your makeup last longer, the best blowout brush, styling tips, the knowledge is endless from this amazing crew.

But I am most proud that every month I am learning more each time I come back.

I learned:
To order my coffee from the Dunkin App so it’s ready when I get to the train station.

Don’t laugh - how to take the subway and thanks to my wonderful husband learned about the app. I was terrified to do this even though I did it for years, except that was a long time ago.

Found my favorite coffee spot in the upper east side for my second cup.

Wear sneakers, good ones - for someone who always where’s heels ikyk.

And everytime I take inspiration around me. I am constantly writing down new ideas, sharing with the team what we can try next. I am always open and ready to learn something new.

Don’t stop learning no matter where you are in your business, entrepreneur or career journey. This is how you will always keep growing.

XO

When I met Lisa, it was that love at first sight kind of a friendship. We had started our businesses at the same time. We would meet for lunch often at the Red Fox, and share our love for burrata, and I would quickly learn that according to Lisa, dessert was everything. Chocolate lava cake to be exact.

Of all the burrata and dessert dates, my most favorite memory is when she asked me if she should leave her full time job and go all in on her wedding planning business. Without a doubt, yes was my answer. Lisa would go on to not only be an award-winning planner, but start two other businesses rooted in what she loved most, supporting women and growing community.

I will miss her laugh, facetiming so she could show me her pup Rux who she loved more than anything, her love of pink, our burrata and chocolate cake dates, and her always uplifting messages. Every morning my DMs would have an uplifting quote or reel waiting for me.

She was my biggest cheerleader, the best hype girl to so many, the life of the party, had an endless amount of kindness, and everything she did was rooted in deep love.

I can hear her now, pull yourself together, let’s get back to doing the work, lifting women up and growing a community where we fix each other’s crowns without telling the world it was crooked.

Forever grateful for your friendship and love. I will miss you forever Lisa. 🐝✨

Success in business isn’t just about strategy—it’s about mindset.

Back in 2019 before I worked with a business and mindset coach, I didn’t have the tools in place when I faced challenges, setbacks, imposter syndrome, and all the daily uncertainties that come with entrepreneurship and being a business owner.

Today I have a mindset routine that is a non-negotiable. Not only was this simple practice a game changer in my business, but in my personal life too. Next to my skincare, starting the day with water before coffee, getting outside and some steps in, I hit my desk and start the day with my mindset work.

A short 5 minute meditation from on YouTube, choosing a journal prompt and journaling for 5 minutes, followed by picking an affirmation for the day.

Affirmations are more than just words; they’re a tool to rewire our thinking for success.
Imagine starting each day with:
✨ “I am building a thriving, successful business.”
✨ “I attract the right clients, opportunities, and partnerships.”
✨ “Every challenge is an opportunity for growth.”

By repeating positive affirmations, we shift our focus from fear to possibility, from doubt to confidence. When we believe in our success, we take action—and that’s when the magic happens. Action cures fear.

So, if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or in need of a mindset reset, start speaking success into existence. Your thoughts shape your reality—make them work in your favor.

My favorite business affirmation, "I inspire and empower those around me. 💫 Share yours in the comments.⬇

Back in the office. What a year 2024 was, full of work and clients that are nothing short of inspirational and amazing people.

My focus in 2025 is to simplify. I am re-looking at my systems, my processes, my morning and night time routine, along with all the parts of life where simplifying means more time to continue to do what I love and make an impact.

In July I had the opportunity to step in as the for Anne Barge after working with them as their marketing consultant since 2020. It has been an absolute dream. Thank you to CEO and Creative Director Shawne Jacobs, for being the epitome of a dream client and giving me this opportunity. To the entire Anne Barge team, I have never been more excited then what is in store for us this year.

Tell me, what is your focus for 2025?

Thank you to this rockstar group for continuing to choose me to help you grow and shine online. 🖤

My 2025 marketing prediction - you do you. 👏

This last year marketing for business was an over saturated, noisy one. It’s a long exhausting list of do this, not that, post here and there, this time not this one, on this day, this time, this many times….it goes on and on.

Somewhere along the way that led to no posting, feeling overwhelmed and questioning social media for business as we know it.

This year, lean into marketing with ease, to what feels aligned, but more importantly what feels fun.

Don’t be afraid to unfollow accounts that make you feel less then. Focus on the ones that inspire you. Think about the type of marketing you enjoy, usually that means that is the type of marketing you will also enjoy doing for your own business.

Expand your online community and connect with others in your industry that are not direct competitors. This is one of the best ways to bounce off marketing ideas and in the words of Steve Jobs, “you can’t look at the competition and say you’re going to do it better. You have to look at the competition and say you’re going to do it differently.”

Take the time and look back at this year no matter how often you did post or didn’t and do an end of year marketing recap. Look at your analytics and put together a visual report of what your best performing content was.

Write it out. Decide for next year what social media channels you do enjoy posting too, if blogging is not your thing let it go, and if you want to nurture your e-mail marketing create a plan.

I can’t wait to see you do you in your marketing in 2025! ✨

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa! ✨

A reminder that "we need the slow days (staying in bed, long showers, candles, staying home) to appreciate the go days (taking action, feeling inspired, being productive.) Both are necessary."

Wishing you a holiday season filled with joy, rest, and the warmth of those you hold dear.

XO ❤️

A very happy birthday and cheers to 14 years to my other half. 🥂

We said ‘I do’ surrounded by 110 of our nearest and dearest in Playa del Carmen Mexico. This celebration was also a birthday one, and I had a seperate birthday cake after our cocktail hour along with a happy birthday by an amazing mariachi band. After we walked down the beach barefoot to a beach club for our reception behind all our guests, the mariachi band leading the way under a sky full of stars.

Planning our destination wedding is what started my business. I connected with so many amazing wedding vendors who asked for me to blog for them, with their social media and eventually that led to designing their websites too. Almost a year after we got married on October 1st 2011 I registered my business, left my corporate job and went all in.

Team work is really what has makes this dream work. I am grateful that I not only married my best friend, but have a partner forever. We do life equally and together including being in the thick of it when it comes to parenting and raising our three kids.

Marrying a business owner and entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart. 😅 I am forever the luckiest girl in the world. 🖤
