There is a lovely, messy, wonderful intersection between raising babies and building a business.

I was thinking about that this morning. I wear a lot of hats in this season, and my husband is doing his own hard, holy work over at the local cabinet shop. And when he comes home, we are even more blessed.

We have always been a creative family! But more than just making things, we want to make a life that teaches our children something profound.

Years ago, before little hands and big demands, I built a successful Etsy shop creating handmade wood signs. Now, after seasons of renovation and design, I am gently being called back to the basement wood shop, but with a deeper purpose this time.
