New poster concept from Brimax Illustration: LOVE OFF SCRIPT
This fictional romantic-comedy key art was designed around a simple story hook: two actors are filming a staged proposal scene, but the chemistry starts feeling a little too real.
The fun part was letting the props tell the story. The clapperboard reads “Scene 17: Fake Proposal,” while the script page warns “DO NOT KISS.” Together, they create the central tension of the piece before the viewer ever reads a plot summary.
Tagline: The scene was scripted. The spark wasn’t.
This is part of my ongoing key art and visual-development portfolio, exploring how cinematic poster design can communicate story, tone, and genre in a single image.
