Captain Atomic gets the painted poster treatment. 🎨⚡

Started as a loose sketch and built up into a full digital painting — from block-in to final color, all done in Procreate. Wanted to see this character rendered with some real weight and cinematic lighting instead of flat cartoon color.

Captain Atomic is from Atomic Puppet, created by Jerry Leibowitz and Mark Drop — a Canadian/French animated series that deserves more love than it got.

Every painting tells a story.

For this piece, I wanted to push beyond a clean Kazama Iroha portrait and create a moment that felt like a frame from a live-action fantasy film. Rain-soaked streets, drifting embers, mud, exhaustion, and a warrior who has clearly paid a price for victory.

Having a little fun with my profile refresh.
