More about Mike

I grew up in Virginia and moved to New York fresh out of college with dreams of “making it” in at a big agency (with a side-dream of taking photos for $). It only took a few grueling years of temp and part time jobs before I scrapped the marketing career and dove head first into freelance photography.

I haven’t looked back (too much) ever since.

Now, I'm a commercial/fashion photographer shooting for dozens of brands, and interesting people around the city and out of my photo studio in Brooklyn. My work has been in subway ads, printed onto 3 story tall banners, and published in the New York Times.

I love discovering new photoshoot locations, from Soho, to Central Park, to the wonderful evening Promenade views over the East River.
