One business I’ve become absolutely fascinated with is the Savannah Bananas and what Jesse Cole has built.
What stands out to me most is their “Fans First” mentality.
Everything they do is built around creating an unforgettable experience for the customer. The dancing players, entertainment, social media content, interactions with fans, and energy are all intentional. They are constantly asking:
“How can we make this more fun, memorable, and shareable for the fans?”
That mindset is something small businesses can learn a lot from.
Most businesses focus only on selling a product or service. The Savannah Bananas focus on creating an experience people can’t stop talking about.
And honestly, that’s where a lot of business growth happens today.
People remember businesses that:
• Make them feel valued
• Create excitement
• Stand out from competitors
• Have personality
• Give people something worth sharing with others
The “Fans First” mentality doesn’t just apply to baseball.
It applies to restaurants, contractors, retail stores, service businesses, and almost every local business.
If more businesses focused on creating loyal fans instead of just chasing transactions, I think they’d see a huge difference in customer loyalty, referrals, and visibility.
There’s a lot we can learn from what Jesse Cole and the Savannah Bananas are doing. The Savannah Bananas Jesse Cole
