My Experience This Week

This week was Christmas, and I got to go home and spend a couple nights at my parents’ house — something I truly don’t take lightly.

I’m incredibly grateful to have my family in my life, especially knowing that not everyone is that lucky.
It also made me reflect. There were years I missed holidays completely. Years I showed up but wasn’t really present. Years where I caused more stress than joy.

This year was different.
I was invited.
I was wanted.
And I was present.

That meant more to me than I can put into words. It reminded me that growth is real, healing is possible, and change shows up quietly when you keep choosing to show up differently.
