Autonomous Trucking: Reshaping Commercial Freight

Presenters: Jordan Coleman, JD, and Preet Gill, ARM, CPCU

Oct. 15, at 11 a.m. ET

Autonomous trucking is reshaping the commercial freight industry, transforming how goods move, how companies assess risk, and how the industry adapts. This webinar explores the rapid rise of autonomous trucking technology and examines its impact on commercial freight operations, regulatory frameworks, and the evolving insurance landscape. Participants will gain a forward-looking perspective on what this transformation means for carriers, shippers, and the broader supply chain as the industry navigates this defining crossroads.

Key Takeaways
Understand how autonomous trucking prioritizes safety, efficiency, and reliability, and recognize the AI-powered driving system, not the truck itself, as the technology's core value.

Learn how measured milestones and rigorous safety validation, rather than overnight advances, have driven the industry's progress toward commercial autonomy.

Gain insight into how trust, transparency, and demonstrated safety performance will shape adoption, and why strategically deployed autonomous networks, rather than fully autonomous freight everywhere, will likely define the future of the industry.

National CPCU Seminar

AI-Native Systems and the Insurance Policy Lifecycle

Presenter: Will Ross

Oct. 27, at 2 p.m. ET

Insurers have spent decades building operations on a patchwork of legacy core systems, infrastructure that was never designed for real-time data, dynamic decision-making, or modern automation. The instinct to layer new tools on top of that outdated foundation hasn't solved the problem; it's compounded it. The systems themselves are the bottleneck, and modernizing around them without addressing that root issue only adds complexity.

Join Will Ross, co-founder and CEO of Federato, for a presentation on why bolted-on AI consistently falls short, and what it takes to get it right. Will explores an alternative approach: systems where AI orchestrates workflows across the full policy lifecycle, rather than sitting on top as an afterthought. He'll unpack how this shift helps insurance professionals work faster and sharper by eliminating low-value manual work, freeing them to focus on judgment and risk selection.

Key takeaways:
Identify why legacy core systems structurally block real-time data use, dynamic decision-making, and automation across the full policy lifecycle

Distinguish AI that orchestrates end-to-end workflows from AI that's simply layered on top of existing tools

Apply insights on removing low-value manual work to help insurance professionals operate faster and smarter

This webinar is presented in partnership with Federato.
