I’m Melissa, Creative Director and Owner of Melissa Barrick Creative Co: a boutique marketing agency focused on relational marketing, growing communities on social media and content creation to support it all. I firmly believe that a personal - or relational - approach to social media makes the biggest impact on a community. The content? Created to be intentional, emotional, and yes, strategic. I love working with other creative brands who have a strong sense of identity and purpose in who they are and who they serve. You won’t find any AI-generated content here - you’ll get fresh creativity, productive brainstorming and original content. Marketing is deeply personal, and in a world full of falsehoods, pretenses and deception, I help people create connection, authentic interactions, and actual relationships with their audiences.
I feel so blessed to have worked with hundreds of creative and kind people of the last 17+ years that I’ve been in business. I have no intention of stopping here! My creative (albeit scattered, sometimes!) brain gives me no rest and I love being able to bring those ideas to life and helping others do the same.
Here are 5 quick things about me:
1. I’m an old soul and hopeless romantic.
2. I’ll usually have 2739 new ideas or projects in my head before lunch, ready to execute.
3. I take my coffee super simple at home, but would never turn down a triple Flat White or an ice cold Diet Coke.
4. My biggest flex is knowing more about social media than my kids.
5. Despite my desire and drive to go and do all the things, I’m actually very much a Type B personality.
