“I am certain that after the dust of centuries has passed over our cities, we, too, will be remembered not for victories or defeats in battle or in politics, but for our contribution to the human spirit” - John F. Kennedy
Human history has been littered with ego-driven legacy. This plight focuses on personal recognition, material gain, and being remembered, often manifesting as selfish, insecure, or control-oriented actions. Our current world state of consciousness is littered with unreasonable male-dominated individuals bent on leaving a scar in humanity.
As Americans, we are fortunate to have a choice of what we want to contribute to the greater “human spirt”
Do you want to celebrate our differences or despise your neighbor? How do you want to be remembered? As a lover or hater?
Yesterday my wife and I left on our seasonal journey. Travel (for us) is about personal growth, exploration and self discovery. As we left the north country, we pulled over in Wisconsin to take a break. A major solar storm had impacted the earth”s atmosphere on the eve of the spring equinox. Is there a meaning in this? I want to believe so. The universe is speaking and I am listening. I want to find the beauty in this world. I choose love over hate. And on the start of this new journey we ride with open arms towards the unknown experiences that lie on the road in front of us and we welcome the new people we will encounter with joy and love.
What do you want to contribute to the human spirit?
