Ideal Screen Print Ideal Screen Print started in 2015. We are small, family owned screen printing, embroidery and sign business.

We also have a vending trailer DirtraceGear.com that can be seen at local race tracks with custom printed apparel including local drivers. 🏁 Signs, wraps, banners, apparel, canvas prints, screen printing, embroidery and much more.

Hey everyone! We thought it was probably time we re-introduced ourselves! 👋🏻

We’re Troy & Missy, the husband-and-wife team behind Ideal Signs & Apparel, Ideal Signs, Ideal Screen Print & DirtraceGear.com. (Yes…we have a few names 😂)

We’re a small, family-owned business specializing in screen printing and embroidery, but that’s not all we do! We also offer signs, vinyl wraps, logo design, online merchandise stores and much more!

When we say family-owned, we really mean it. ❤️ We have 3 little ones who are often right there in the middle of things. You may catch them helping out at the shop or vending trailer—or you might even get lucky enough to receive a shirt box that has been personally decorated by one of our very enthusiastic junior employees.

—So, how did all of this start?

Ideal Signs began in 2015, right in the basement of our home in Barron. What started as a small idea slowly grew into something we never could have imagined.

From 2019–2025, we had our shop in Cameron on SS. Then, in October 2025, we made another little move—just a few miles up the road to Rice Lake, still on SS!

Through all the changes, one thing has stayed the same: we love what we do, we love the people we get to do it for and we love the friendships we make.

—We’re also a little obsessed with dirt track racing and motorsports. 🏁

Troy comes from a family of racers. He used to race a Wissota Street Stock for a few years but quit shortly after our oldest was born and we started Ideal Signs.

The love for racing has definitely trickled down into our kids’ blood. When we aren’t busy at the shop, you can often find us at a local track cheering on our favorite drivers, working an event, or doing anything else that gives us an excuse to hang around race cars.

That love for racing is also what led to DirtraceGear.com.

Our vending trailer travels to local race tracks and events, where we offer custom racing apparel, driver merchandise and event gear. We love being able to combine two things we enjoy—racing and making cool stuff! It makes us proud yet humbled to see race fans from all over the United States of America and Canada wear apparel we’ve personally made.

At the end of the day, we’re just Troy & Missy—a husband and wife, raising three kids, running a small business, chasing race cars, and trying to keep all the moving pieces together.

We’re incredibly grateful for every person who has supported us over the years. 🫶🏻Every shirt order, embroidered hat, sign, wrap, logo, race team, business, event and referral has helped our little basement business become what it is today.

So thank you for being here, supporting local and small businesses, and letting us do what we love. ❤️

Here’s to the next chapter of Ideal—and wherever the road (or racetrack 🏁) takes us next!
