We had so much fun with this senior session 🌊⚓️

Natalie and I headed to the east side of Canandaigua Lake, where we caught a beautiful golden hour. After capturing the must have senior portraits, we decided to jump right into the water for some candid shots that made this session feel so unique and memorable 🤍

So, get a load of this story...

Heather Leigh and I were “casually taking photos with my camera” when Manu and his girlfriend walked over and asked if I could “take a picture of them on his iPhone”. After snapping a few photos, I asked his girlfriend if they were from the area. She told me they had traveled here. So casually, I offered to take a few photos with my camera and send them over so they’d have something special to remember the evening.

Little did she know... that simple interaction led to the moment.

It was such a fun and creative way to keep the surprise intact and help calm the nerves before the big question. Watching it unfold was so special, and the photos say it all 💛💍

This was my first rodeo… 🤠

And what an amazing experience it was! I had such a great time capturing the Reese Ranch Rodeo on July 11th and came home with so many incredible moments from the evening.
