I'm a former full-time English teacher turned work-from-home graphic designer, social media manager, photographer, mother, and wife. I have three young kiddos at home, and I love photography! I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families to capture their special moments in time, and I also love working with small business owners to help make their visions a reality. I serve Kalamazoo and the surrounding cities within a 20 mile radius. Anything further requires additional fees for travel, but I don't mind traveling! I also enjoy creating graphics for both businesses and individuals. For clients in the past, I've created restaurant menus, wedding invitations, bridal shower signs, bumper stickers, logos, and more! We can even create a custom GIF from your photo session! I strive to be there for families in both the good times and the heavy, difficult times of grief. That's why I am also a certified volunteer affiliate photographer for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep and an affiliate photographer for The Tilly Project, providing perinatal bereavement and end of life photography for families and individuals who have lost or are about to lose a child or a pet. What has happened in Minnesota, and the way ICE has been operating across this country, has left me devastated. The fear and instability this has created for families and communities is real, and it is not something I can move past quietly.

I just took the leap and officially formed my LLC last week. I am at the very beginning of expanding my work, and I am already making a clear choice about the kind of business owner I will be.

I am not willing to separate my values from my work.

My work is rooted in care, safety, dignity, and humanity. Those values matter most when things are hard, when speaking up carries risk, and when silence would be easier or more profitable.

I stand with immigrants and with marginalized communities who are living with fear right now. I choose people over profit and integrity over comfort. I trust that the people who are meant to work with me will connect with both my work and my values.

If you are here, thank you for being part of a community that values compassion, accountability, and care for one another. I hope you are paying attention, taking care of your neighbors, and using your voice where you can.
