I think at 1000ft view its very easy to blame externally as to why your venue is not booked.

You say the leads are unqualified...

So you fire the agency or blame them..

You could even try to change a few things on the website..

But is that really the case...

I have been reviewing and looking at many venues lately and one thing is coming around...

The issue is not the leads...

Its what happens after they come in...

Most venue owners don’t need another random marketing tactic.

They need to know where the booking process is actually breaking.

If inquiries are low, that’s one problem.

If inquiries are coming in but tours aren’t happening, that’s another.

If tours are happening but deposits aren’t, that’s another one again.

Same empty calendar.

Different fix😳

Everyday im looking at at least 10 event venue marketing systems and almost all of them think they need more leads!

Some yes, they do have a visibility problem thats why they don't have enough balls seeing their offer.

The huge percentage though, have enough leads coming through as they are running either google ads and/or meta.

However, those leads go cold really fast.

I find that most venue lose their potential customers because of lack of timely followup or nurture, staying on top of their customers mind.
