We get solicited all the time from fly-by-night companies offering cheap digitizing services. Despite the fact we do not outsource our digitizing, we also do not trust any custom design that is digitized for the price of a cup of coffee. (Not to be confused with a stock design which is sold over and over, for less than a cup of coffee.)
Art of Embroidery is a family owned and operated digitizing service, right here in Central Pennsylvania. We have more than thirty years of machine embroidery experience as well as over twenty years of digitizing experience for home and commercial embroiderers.
Every design we digitize is test stitched, critiqued, and adjusted as needed to ensure we provide our customers the best quality design.
Every design will have underlay. The type and density of the underlay depends on the product being stitched. It is important that our customers tell us what materials will be used for the final stitch-out. The materials impact push and pull compensation needs, too.
The number of trims and color changes varies with each design, and with our customers' preference. Some customers prefer to let the machine do all the trimming, while others want the machine running full speed all the time and they'll cut the jump threads in post handling.
