Our owner, Tammy Sander, has lived with a type of dystonia called blepharospasm for 25+ years, the result of a car accident.

That’s why Mother of Pearls was proud to sponsor Indianapolis Dystonia Zoo Day today at the White River Waterfront Pavilion. The family-friendly event helped raise $15K for the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation.

Another major Hamilton County infrastructure project is officially in the books!

We were on hand this morning as county officials cut the ribbon on the completed 146th Street & Allisonville Road interchange. After months of construction updates, traffic changes and project milestones, it’s always rewarding to help our clients celebrate the finish line.

Next up: 146th Street & Hazel Dell Parkway!

We traded our laptops for trash bags this afternoon!

In honor of the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, our team joined Carmel residents in giving back to our community with a little roadside cleanup.

The best part? Meeting our new friends - Mike, Bill, and Jeremy - who pitched in alongside us.

A great afternoon of community service and paying it forward.

Over the past week, we’ve stood alongside county leaders, neighboring cities, emergency responders and community partners working together to keep Hamilton County informed during an incredibly difficult time.

Kudos to Hamilton County Government for making communication a priority. Thank you to our neighboring cities for collaborating so closely throughout this crisis. And thank you to the media for continuing to show up and share information as quickly as we can get it to the community.

We’re grateful to play a small part in a much bigger community effort.

This isn’t our typical Day in the Life.

Over the past week, we’ve seen firsthand what the flooding has taken from some of our Hamilton County neighbors. Homes have been damaged. Families have been displaced. People are exhausted and trying to figure out what comes next.

In the middle of all of that, we’ve had a job to do: help get accurate, timely information to the people who need it.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help keep the community we call home informed and safe.

The rain boots may eventually come off. The recovery will take much longer.

The Westfield Washington Public Library officially opened its new Read & Roam Garden today - a fabulous outdoor space that will allow the library to take its programming outside.
