Race night update:

car felt good, had a good run in my feature until my rag joint gave out

rag joint was ripped. Hit a whoop and tore it the rest of the way. Unable to steer or correct we spun caught more damage, there goes my night.

Time to rebuild and go from there 😵‍💫 nothing good comes easy

Friday recap

Track felt good straight from jump, put down 19.04 in qualifying, seeding me into 8th in the A main.

Tight racing in the heat, working slowly behind competitors trying to make space in haste, ended with me chucking in an overzealous move. My fault

Cost me the night with a snapped axle.

Build it, race it, break it, repeat it.

That’s part of the sport. But If that’s not for you, I’m sure crocheting would work out 😂💯

I personally have a lil work to do and I’ll see yall for the track party. 😎

Excited to announce a new driver for the Coffman racing team.

My father Monty is comming out of a 20+ year racing retirement, and switching disciplines to dirt racing.

I personally Couldn’t be more excited to share this great sport with my dad again.

Look for Monty hitting the track, maybe late this year but 100% next season.

Friday night recap

Car was fast, got a better grip on my line. Hit a personal best on qualifying 19.28 pushing me into the A heat & A main

Heat: 3rd -> 3rd
Feature: 3rd -> 7th

In the feature, I hot dogged it and spun, out of pure excitement comming out of 4, battling for second. Thankful for some quick reactions on other drivers, no contact and was able to recompose and start my trek back to the pack.
