On the evening of June 3, 2025, the Carolina Beach Pier became the setting for a heartwarming surprise engagement. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting golden hues over the Atlantic, Brian knelt down and asked Macy to spend forever with him. The moment was beautifully captured by Carolina Beach Photographer Kit Furderer, preserving the joy and love shared between the couple.

The Carolina Beach Pier, a historic landmark stretching 669 feet into the ocean, has been a cherished spot for both locals and visitors since its opening in 1946. Known for its scenic views and vibrant community events, the pier provided the perfect backdrop for Brian's heartfelt proposal.
