Personal Note from Eric, founder 105 West. "Please come in to 105 West and check out the silent auction on the stage this week. This fundraiser is near the hearts of our founder, his family and many of the 105 West family. Former manager Fritz is heading up the fundraiser than can make a real difference this Christmas."

Last year, Matt was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer, and the journey has been incredibly tough. Surgery was unsuccessful, and treatments continue. Matt’s good days are limited. Photo was a great day when he felt good enough to Fish with Eric. His biggest goal right now is to sell their home and move his family closer to loved ones.

Matt and his wife Steph are both U.S. Navy Veterans and parents of two daughters. They’ve been close friends of the Seufert, Rejman, Mauck, Strohfus, Robidoux, and Wilde families, and many others who are deeply connected to the 105 West community.

But the home needs a full roof replacement and other major repairs — a huge stressor both financially and psychologically. Thankfully, Fritz (former 105 West manager and now with Storm Exteriors) is donating all of his labor to make it happen. However, material and other costs are expected to reach $20,000.

💛 This is where our community can make a difference.
We’re hosting a silent auction to raise the funds needed so Matt can focus on his family, not his roof. Helping him ensure his home is taken care of would be an incredible gift during an unimaginably difficult time.
