I know there are a million worthy places to donate your money tomorrow (and everyday), but here’s just one more, especially if you live in Durham or the surrounding areas.

Marcella Thompson, a Durham resident works tirelessly in the community to feed and assist our neighbors whenever and however she can through her organization, The Mustard Seed Project NC. I met Ms. Marcella a few years ago, and she’s a rare gem. She distributes food, shuttles people to doctors appointments, organizes clinics and more for the community, all without fanfare. She has no social media accounts or email, and that makes support hard to come by, but she’s too busy doing the work to spend time on promotion. So, here I am, just piping in to say if you’re looking to keep your donations hyper-local and meaningful, Ms. Marcella is always looking for and deserving of a helping hand.

Over the last few months, we’ve been quietly working on a concept to offer stationery printing/packaging for independent artists. A way to turn large scale art into cards and card sets to diversify customer offerings, especially for local market sales. Working with small businesses, especially artists, has always been one of my greatest joys. Excited to continue on with this fun additional avenue, and working hard to finalize details before an official roll out. Interested in something like this to add to your line? 📣✨ FOR SALE! ✨📣 Can’t believe we are saying this, but our beloved Tiny Shop is officially up for sale!

As we move into our new studio space and put our full focus back on printing, the time has come. We’ve been holding out for a while now, because this project was so near and dear to our hearts, but we are really hoping someone will love this little shop and take it on some new and great adventures.

Strip it down to the bare space or keep the custom-built-ins, whatever suits your needs. Dream big!

Our Story

After a 2014 encounter turned into a letterpress apprenticeship in Jackson, Mississippi, Bekah Bohlen jumped in with 2 feet into the wonderful world of paper. Over the past 5 years, she’s explored the wholesale greeting card industry, bespoke wedding stationery and a mobile retail operation specializing in paper and gifts. All that has come full circle back to her first love, letterpress. In a concerted effort to spend more time in the studio creating, Bekah is putting the spotlight back on simple stationery - personal correspondence, business cards and marketing materials, with a limited number of bespoke client offerings per year.
