WEEKEND RECAP / PHOTO DUMP 🖤

Charlotte was active this weekend. Here’s a quick rundown.

Slides 1–4:
Myself at Art After Dark on Friday, at the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African‑American Arts + Culture with .tmrw
Great crowd, great energy. Always good seeing Charlotte show up for culture.

Slides 5–7:
Finally tried after hearing everyone talk about it.
Line outside the door. Food is solid… but the price surprised me. Slide 7 meal was $34. Feels like elevated meal-prep food. Good, just overpriced.

Slide 8:
Strawberry cheesecake from at our Gantt Museum party.
She sold out of EVERYTHING. After tasting it, I get why. 10/10.
Go support this Black woman owned business.
(Yes… I ate mine in bed 🤭)

Slide 9:
Quality time with my son Leo 🐶

Slides 10–11:
After leaving Naked Farmer, someone recognized me and stopped me to introduce himself.
He runs a juicing business and gave me two bottles to try.
Some of the best juices I’ve had all year.
Support this young king: x

Slide 12:
Finally tried pastries and Cakes.
Lawd… this place is SO GOOD.

Slide 13:
My inner thoughts after helping produce a weekend full of large events.
Still chasing improvement. Always.

Slides 14–15:
More moments from the Art After Dark afterparty with Better Luck TMRW at Slingshot Charlotte.

Slide 16:
They call me Plantain Papi because fried plantains are my weakness. Literally I’m addicted
I love yall Charlotte🫶🏾

Charlotte really had a lot going on this weekend.

What did y’all get into? 👀

Oh how times have changed lol. This city is changing right before our eyes.

I’m a born and raised Charlotte native and I never even knew these houses were here!

I have a co working space nearby and took a different route home and stumbled on it. I was literally blown away. These might be some of the best houses I’ve seen in Charlotte!
