We can’t stress this enough! The importance of detailed pre-qualification calls with all leads


You need to have a very clear step by step process that you use before you ever physically go to a property.

There are a lot of things this will do for you:

1 - Maintain consistency in your operations so that you are creating repeatable processes so it will be easier to train new team members at scale.

2 - When speaking to a homeowner you are much more professional. They will be able to tell that they are dealing with a legitimate organized business.

3- Most importantly you can stop driving out to estimates to talk to homeowners that were never going to work with you in the first place! Saving your time, energy, and money on top of everything else.

Obviously, always be very VERY polite to all leads but you must simultaneously make sure you are protecting your calendar.

More leads isn’t always better. For example, let’s say you are a business owner that wants to scale the pool construction side of your company.

First we will start with advertising online: You need to be very specific in what you are offering. If you want more pools jobs make that very clear in your description, photo/video, and offering. Once you get people to click on this ad you need to ask them multiple questions before they even submit contact information.

“Are you a homeowner in this area?”
“What kind of job are you looking for?”
“What is your budget?”
“What is your timeframe on getting started? . . . etc.

Asking these questions will make your cost per lead higher but in return will save you a lot of time, money, and energy. This removes the people that aren’t serious and gives you an idea of who you are working with before you even get on the phone.

Tap into your network: Don't overlook the people you already know! Ask around and see if anyone in your network knows of young people looking for a job.

Write a detailed job listing: When running ads on job platforms like Indeed, make sure to provide a complete job listing that includes information about the company, job description, expectations, and experience level required.

Target people who want to improve: Connect with community colleges in your area to see if you can advertise job opportunities to their students via email, flyers, or yard signs in parking lots. You can also try advertising in local gyms, which can attract people who are already focused on improving their lives.

Be proactive: In today's job market, you can't just sit back and wait for applicants to come to you. Take the initiative to seek out potential candidates and make sure your job listing is attractive and stands out.

By following these tips, you can expand your reach and find reliable labor for your business.

How To Drive Traffic To My Service Based Business on a Small Budget . . .

Utilize online resources to understand copywriting basics, creatives, and most importantly OFFERS. (Book Recommendation - $100M Offers by Alex Hormozi)

Look at successful companies in your area to see what they are doing and see what is working for them. (Facebook Ad Library)

Create attractive ads with a good offer that makes it very clear what you are doing (Include Your Company Branding)

Run a Facebook lead form campaign for your target market with a broad audience. (Keep it Simple)

If you are really on a budget and cannot afford a CRM you should use Zapier to automate all the leads into a Google sheet and follow up with your leads manually.

(Get a CRM if you can afford it)

Key Tips:

Let the ads run for MINIMUM 3-5 days Facebook is an auction and if you do not spend enough money you will not get leads.

Once you have leads being persistent and following up multiple times is essential.

If you have the money work with an Agency so that you are maximizing your advertising dollars.
