Have you ever considered growing with grants?

So, I pretty much always thought I had to have money to make money. (One of the many reasons I have money blocks, no doubt, but we're working through them.)
Because then life taught me that for everything you want, there's a way to get it, achieve it, have it...you know?
Well, when I sold my business in 2024, I was starting from scratch all over, taking my sweet time figuring out what I was going to do moving forward. And thankfully, I maintained a friendship with the new owner because when I told her my big hairy audacious goal, she told me I needed to apply for grants. I knew pretty much nothing about grants, and mostly doubted I would ever be eligible for grants. (I didn't have an MBA. I didn't have a charity. Yes, this is how much I knew about grants. Less than nothing, even.)
Only, then because everything is listening all the time, I started getting all the notices about grants and learning about grants, and applying for grants.
First, everyone in here could be applying for grants and getting free money to help them grow.
Second, thanks to my Clifton Strengths, I'm naturally compelled to learn everything, execute, and then teach it to others.
And that's why I'm now building the Grow With Grants: Soft Boss Starter Kit.

While every grant has different requirements, to be ready to apply you need:

There’s a lot to be scared about in the world right now.
But I’m not terrified. Just awake.
And even in the chaos, I still believe in my ability to build something beautiful, something that helps others rise, too. 🌱

My life hasn’t been easy.
Every time I hit a wall, I built a workaround.
Couldn’t find a work-from-home job? Made one.
Couldn’t afford a team? Learned the tech.
Couldn’t find stability? Built systems.

Every stream of income I’ve built started as survival. Every skill I learned came from necessity. And yet, somehow, all those messy pivots became my purpose. 💡

I adore my daughter, my miracle girl who arrived at just 24 weeks and 3 days.
We’ve faced more hospitals, diagnoses, and sleepless nights than I can count.
Cerebral palsy, Celiac, heart condition, sensory issues… you name it.
And through it all, she’s my proof that life is fragile and fierce.
She’s my why, the reason I learned to build softer systems that still work hard. 💪✨

There are worse things than being gluten free.
For example, you could be a wealthy out-of-touch politician voting against safety nets for struggling families.
Ah, but I digress. 😏

Here’s the truth:
We can’t control the world.
But we can still build worlds within it…
kinder ones, slower ones, sustainable ones.

I’m done chasing ease that’s earned through exhaustion.
I’m choosing hope as my business model.

If you’re standing at your own crossroads, exhausted but not defeated, this is your reminder:
Even here, we rise.
Even now, we build.
Softly, but unbreakable. 💎
