When we received the call last week from the U.S. Marshals asking to buy flags for their memorial service in Charlotte, we refused. In the wake of such terrible circumstances, donating the flags seemed like the only right thing to do. 🇺🇸✨
So we loaded up the crew Uptown and hand delivered the 5' x 9-1/2' U.S. Interment Flags to them within an hour of their call, for free.
When they called back Saturday, hoping to find a memorial flag case for a very special flag, they found the expertise and dedication necessary to solve their need. Not a standard "stock" size case, we utilized our network of neighbors and business contacts to have the case made custom from scratch. Less than 48 hours later, the case was in-hands delivered. As a company that serves our U.S. Capitol, other federal agencies, many local governments including Police and Fire Departments, and military and veterans nationwide, Action Flag was honored to go above and beyond the call of duty in such a small way compared to the lengths they go to protect and serve us every single day. 🚓🚒🎖️
And, of course, there is no way for us to fully repay the debt from those that have given their lives for the causes of freedom and justice.
From our Action Flag family, our neighbors, and entire greater Charlotte business community, THANK YOU for each day you leave home to take down the bad guys, embracing the risk of no return.
RIP to Deputy Weeks, Corrections Officers Poloche and Elliott, and CMPD Officer Eyer. And prayers and continued condolences to the family of heroes everywhere mourning the loss of their brothers. 🕯️💔
