If your marketing company guides you to wins through offering discounts… we respectfully disagree.
We are referring to the ones that… when you first sign on… their lead is to promote discounted services.
Or, you’ve been with them for a while and it’s their consistent move.
Discounts can absolutely create movement. They can bring in calls. They can fill a slow week. They can create a spike.
But here’s the problem…
When the discount becomes the hook instead of the marketing itself, you train your audience to wait.
You train them to only buy when there’s a deal.
You train them to see your value through a percentage off.
You create momentum that disappears the moment the discount does.
That’s not marketing. That’s dependency.
And when the promotions stop, the “wins” stop too.
Now you’re stuck cycling through:
New promo.
Quick spike.
Revenue cut.
Repeat.
Meanwhile your margins shrink and your time gets eaten up serving discounted work.
Strong marketing builds demand at full price.
It communicates value so clearly that people don’t need an incentive to move forward. They move because they trust you. They see the authority. They understand the result.
Disclaimer: We are not saying never discount. There are strategic times when it absolutely makes sense.
But if you’re starting with a new marketing company and their first move is “let’s run a discount”…
Or if the only time you see results is when you slash prices…
Let’s have a conversation.
Because our clients are getting consistent wins at full price… and that changes everything. That’s when businesses LEVEL UP.
