A successful ribbon cutting takes practice. The Kcomm team was happy to jump in as stunt doubles before the real thing.

It was all in preparation for the grand opening of Tryon Medical Partners’ new location in the growing community of Waxhaw. As the Charlotte region expands, so does Tryon, reaching more patients eager to find personalized care from a practice known for building stronger relationships.

The clinic’s opening was a hit, with attendees including Tryon leadership, as well as Waxhaw Mayor Pro Tem Susanna Wedra, Union County Commissioner Errol Wedra and other civic leaders.

Kcomm was honored to partner with the amazing Tryon team to make it a special day in Waxhaw. And as a bonus: we now know how to wield 30-inch scissors!

Recruiting police officers is an increasingly challenging directive for departments across the nation. To stand out in a crowded marketplace, all competing for the same talent, a department needs to think creatively, moving beyond expected imagery (heroic shots of men and women in blue) that has become a sea of sameness from one city to the next.

For our WANTED campaign for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, we worked with the concept that the thrill and purpose of a career in law enforcement aren’t limited to the uniform and the workday. This campaign showcases fresh, unexpected moments of freedom, exhilaration and discovery -- both physical and mental --that capture the deep emotion at the core of serving others while stretching your potential.

In sporting news: Kcomm is excited to announce that our client, Tryon Medical Partners, has teamed up with OrthoCarolina to serve Official Healthcare Providers of the Carolina Ascent FC, Charlotte’s professional women’s soccer team.

It was a natural fit to team up with orthopedic care leader OrthoCarolina, because like Tryon, this is an independent, award-winning, physician-led practice that serves the Charlotte region with a strong focus on patient-centered care.

The partnership also draws the specialized strengths of both practices. OrthoCarolina physicians will provide orthopedic care for Carolina Ascent players, while Tryon Medical Partners will provide comprehensive primary care and women’s healthcare, and will serve as the team’s nutritionist.

As momentum continues to build for professional women’s sports, Philip Poole, head coach of the Ascent, says that forming the right partnerships in all areas is the key to success: “OrthoCarolina and Tryon Medical Partners have blown us away with their quality, attention to detail, and undoubted ability to correctly manage a professional team.
