Hi, Xross here. Im documenting the photographer Adam Davis during his residency here in Charlotte. I'm partnered with The roll up and Carey King during this process. I'm shooting a film of his stay while he's here along with behind the scenes photos and other videos. For ones that you that have booked a free shoot while he's here we appreciate you l. We have open sessions for the public this Friday and Saturday. Adam has shot for Obama, Quest Love, Merba, and myself. He's also worked with Kanye West and a few other notable names. What makes his work special is that he does tintype photography. Tintype is the 2nd oldest form of photography in existence. So when you see those older photos of our ancestors it's all printed on metal and least forever. Adam is currently on tour and he's trying to photography 200,000 people of color. Im honored to be a part of that Charlotte experience. He told me the reason that he's doing this is to see how life is thru the lens of other people and ultimately to fully discover himself.
