Day 2 of our Reflect shoot was nothing but eventful for our team. Being a working mom can be pretty unpredictable at times and like my friend says "Moms have to stick together." I'm so thankful to be on a team of *mostly* moms. When our babies get sick or need to hang on set until dad picks them up, we've got each other to stand in the gap and support.

Introducing Life of Lanaire! ✨

About the Client: Lanaire is a Charlotte, NC-based speaker, host, influencer, and non-profit president. is a platform for women in the Sandwich Generation: millennial women who are taking care of both their kids and their parents.

Life of Lanaire (LOL) offers a safe and supportive space where these women can experience “me too” moments and celebrate who they are and the hard work they are accomplishing. LOL also offers resources, retreats and community.

Her Mission is to empower and resonate with caregivers, through her journey as the sandwich generation it-girl. Through relatable content, Lanaire meets them where they are - in their hearts and on social media. Through authentic storytelling and shared experiences, Lanaire aims to inspire, uplift, and make connections that transcend digital boundaries.

✨34✨ If you would have told the girls in the second picture about where she’d be today she would be THRILLED! I have to remind myself of that more times than I’m willing to admit.

I’ve learned so much since that photo was taken in 2007 but what I’ve learned in the past year has set the frame work of what I’m excited for for this next one.

As promised, here are 4 things I’m excited for for my 34th year.

♡ Growing as a creative. I’ve learned so much in the past year so I want to keep the momentum going. The design industry has changed so much with new innovations, especially in the programs space. I never want to stop being a student of this field I love so much. I can’t wait to share with you what I’m learning along the way.

♡ Learning more about business. I have big goals and even bigger dreams and with that comes some practical skills that I’m looking forward to growing in. More on that another day. 🤓

♡ Working with my dream clients to level up their businesses and help them build confidence in their brand. I’ve been blessed with countless clients over the past 12 years. And in that time I’ve learned that we’re all allowed to work with who we want to work with. I’m excited to work with clients who I align well with and they align well with me!

♡ Living life more abundantly. I want to live, love, and create out of overflow. In past years I’ve done all of those things out of a deficit, giving to everyone and everything before myself. That’s no way to operate friends! You, your family, and your work deserve more than that. Put your oxygen mask on before you help others. I’m excited to focus on doing this for myself…even with the addition of a new baby very soon!
