I am constantly so grateful to get to do what I love. I get to capture the love within families. There is no greater gift.

These captured moments can be treasured for years to come, and I take that extremely seriously. These are moments that we don't get back.

So, when a friend asked me to capture her parents ahead of their 50th wedding anniversary, I was honored to be asked. I was flattered that she believed in me to capture them at this special moment in their lives. I was terrified that I would not do it well. And then the day came, and their love for one another beamed out of them. I had the easiest job around, and I felt like the luckiest person in the world to be able to witness it and capture it.
